PROJECT SUMMARY:

ASDi provided the structural engineering for a new elementary school campus for Fresno Unified School District.  The project consists of a Multi-Purpose Building and a two-story Classroom Building.  Both of the buildings were framed using structural steel, OCBF lateral systems, and non-bearing metal stud walls.  The Multi-Purpose Building contains a performing stage and preparatory kitchen.  The Classroom Building features a large arched skylight at the main lobby, framed with curved hollow structural tubes.  The campus is named after Vang Pao, who was a major general in the Royal Lao Army and a leader in the Hmong community in the United States.
