PROJECT SUMMARY:

A new vocational facility for Mendota High School including multiple classrooms and vocational training rooms. The building was framed using a combination of dimensional lumber, wood I-joists and structural steel. The automotive shop portion of the building was constructed with CMU exterior shear walls and is seismically isolated from the rest of the building, which uses plywood shear walls for the lateral system.
