PROJECT SUMMARY:

ASDi performed the structural design of the new Multi-Use / Classroom facility on the campus of Coalinga High School. The facility is primarily used for physical education classes, and has an exercise classroom and a dedicated classroom for students with severe disabilities. The project utilizes wood studs and steel columns and girts to frame the shear walls. The roof is framed with wood I-joists and tapered steel girders spanning 100 ft. All of the HVAC equipment for the building is housed within an enclosed 2,000 sq. ft. mezzanine.
