The Division of the State Architect (DSA) provides design and construction oversight for K-12 schools, community colleges, and various other state-owned and leased facilities. DSA recently hosted a “Focus on the Future” seminar in Bakersfield, which was the first in a series of outreach seminars focused on sharing a wide variety of information and exchanging ideas of how to deliver educational facilities more efficiently. ASDi was able to attend the Bakersfield seminar and participate in the discussions with DSA regarding design and construction of schools in California.
